This is a pre-order for 18inch "Wendy Weird" in Marshmallow White colored resin. As part of the "Wendy Weird" full package you will receive 1 Wendy doll with Face up by Artist, 1 outfit designed by Artist Nikki Britt and hand-made by Connie Casteel (outfit includes Antique Victorian style dress, bloomers, black hair bow, black stockings, Antique French Victorian style shoes in black), 1 short bob style wig in black, 1 pair of Antique style German blown glass eyes in random color, and COA. All other props are not included with doll unless noted. Those ordering Wendy will have three payment options in the drop down menu above; Minimum down payment, half payment, and full payment. Customers who choose the minimum and half payment will be invoiced for the remaining balance once dolls are in stock and ready to ship. Wendy will be limited to only 80 edition dolls worldwide and 30 Artist dolls. Shipping invoices will be sent for each order once dolls are in stock and ready to ship. Shipping for Wendy within the US - $35 - $45, International Registered Shipping - $95 -$125.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a pre-order, dolls will take anywhere between 3-6
months to arrive from factory. Factory wait times vary and although the normal
waiting period should be around 3-4 months please be aware that it CAN take up
to 6 months to arrive and I don't have control over this. If you cannot wait
this long please do not pre-order. 1 pre-order per doll per person please. (If you would like to order more than one of the same doll please email me before-hand). Outfits and face-ups are 100% handmade and hand-painted by Artists therefore design may vary slightly.
IMPORTANT!: Orders cannot be canceled after 24 hours without a fee of $350 being taken from the total. Minimum down-payment will be considered a non-refundable deposit.

CREATING WENDY - FROM START TO FINISH
As a child I would cope with difficulties in life by creating my own world and imaginary friends; they were as real to me as anything and I loved that they understood me and I could make them anything I wanted them to be. One of my imaginary friends was Thomas the ghost boy. Thomas and I had many adventures together. I'd share him and his story with the other kids at school which as you can imagine, didn't gain me much popularity, I became the weird girl. That was fine with me though, Thomas and I didn't need them to have fun, we had each other. Now that I am grown I can look back and remember the imaginary Thomas fondly, we had some good times. Wendy's story was inspired by that moment in my childhood, the moment that I discovered that life can be an adventure if you only find the courage to be yourself.
Wendy began with a poem, words float around in my head like alphabet soup and many times I find myself lying awake at night pairing words together until they become a silly poem. From there my poems become sketches, paintings, and then sculptures.
I began sketching Wendy and Phoebe in 2012. My idea for them was a soft and spooky, haunted tale. Below are photos of the first sketches that came about.
